Dr. Conners joined us in 2018 and is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate degree and graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. After several years as an equine ambulatory practitioner, she chose to complete a year-long small animal internship at an emergency and specialty hospital in Richmond. Since then she has continued to practice as a small animal emergency veterinarian in Central Virginia. Her professional interests include any and all emergencies, ophthalmology, and dentistry. Dr. Conners lives in Nelson County with her husband, dogs, and seven horses. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, and playing polo.
